Comnly

Support

We want Comnly to feel obvious to use, but every club is run a little differently. This page covers the questions we hear most often.

If you cannot find what you need here, email us and a real person will reply. We try to respond on the same working day, and always within two working days.

Getting started

The basics of signing up, joining a club, and finding your way around.

What is Comnly?

Comnly is a private space for clubs, associations, and committees to keep their members in the loop. Think of it as a calm replacement for the noisy WhatsApp group and the email chain that nobody reads.

Admins post updates, share events, run polls, and store important documents in one place. Members get clean notifications, a tidy feed, and a single calendar of what is on.

How do I join a club on Comnly?

There are two ways. The first is to scan the QR code your club has put up on posters, behind the bar, or shared in a message. The QR code opens the club's join page and walks you through creating an account.

The second is to use an invite link your committee has sent by email or text. Tap the link, create your account, and your request is sent for approval. An admin will let you in shortly afterwards.

How do I create an organisation on Comnly?

Head to comnly.com and choose Sign up. You will create your account, set up your organisation, accept the legal documents, and pay the first month at the introductory rate. After payment your dashboard opens straight away.

Comnly is currently offered to UK-based organisations only. You will be asked to confirm that your club is based in the UK as part of signup.

Do I have to be 18 to use Comnly?

Yes. Whether you are joining as an admin, an owner, or a member, you need to be at least 18 years old. This applies to everyone on the platform.

We also ask for your date of birth at signup. This is used for admin features such as birthday reminders and age-checked event targeting. Members can choose whether their birthday is visible to the rest of the club.

Is Comnly free for members?

Yes. Members never pay Comnly to use the app. Only the club pays the monthly or yearly subscription that keeps the community running.

Some clubs may use Comnly to collect dues or take payment for events. That is set up by your committee, not by us, and it is always clearly labelled.
