Common questions

Is Comnly suitable for both first and second teams?

Yes. You can target posts and notices by team or category, so the firsts only see firsts updates and the seconds only see seconds news. Critical notices can still go to the whole club when needed.

Can coaches and team managers post updates as well as the committee?

Yes. Comnly supports multiple admin titles (Secretary, Team Manager, Coach, Treasurer, etc.) with scoped permissions. You can give a team manager the ability to post fixture updates without giving them billing or member-management access.

Can we collect match fees and kit money through Comnly?

Yes. You can attach Stripe payment links to any post for match fees, kit, trips, or social tickets. Payments go directly to your club’s connected Stripe account.

What about safeguarding notices?

Comnly is designed for governance-grade communications. Mark safeguarding updates as critical notices and members must explicitly acknowledge them, giving you a timestamped audit trail.

Does Comnly cover junior or mini sections?

Comnly accounts remain 18+ only: juniors do not get their own app login, profile, or device. An adult member can, however, add a junior to their own membership as a sub-record and choose to follow the club's junior section interests on the junior's behalf. The parent then receives push notifications about junior fixtures, training, and notices through their own adult account. Comnly does not provide a separate junior-facing experience or under-18 safeguarding workflows.

How quickly can we get our players onboarded?
