Polls and voting
Run polls, surveys, and AGM votes inside Comnly. Yes/No, For/Against/Abstain, or custom multiple choice. Anonymous or named. Live results with percentages. Use it for committee feedback, social-night picks, and constitutional votes alike.
What you can do
Pre-built Yes/No and For/Against/Abstain templates for constitutional resolutions and motions, with locked option sets when in AGM mode.
Restrict members to one vote, or allow multi-select for "pick your top three" survey scenarios.
Anonymous polls label identity confidentiality in the member UI and store votes without identifying the voter.
Live percentage breakdowns visible to admins (and to members, when configured) as votes come in.
Owners and admins with content scope can close a poll at any time. Closed polls reject new votes server-side.
Restrict a poll to committee, a category, or a specific cohort. Member-facing recipients match the audience scope of the parent post.
How it works
Attach a poll to any post. Pick a template (Yes/No, For/Against/Abstain) or build a custom multi-choice set.
Members tap to vote from the post feed or detail screen. Single or multi-select enforced by the poll mode.
Close the poll when voting ends. Results are timestamped and saved against the post for audit purposes.
