Parental Responsibility Attestation

By adding a child to your Comnly membership you confirm that:

1. You hold parental responsibility for the named child under the Children Act 1989 (or, in Scotland and Northern Ireland, the equivalent statutory parental responsibilities and rights), or you are the child's legal guardian. 2. You are providing the child's first name, last name, date of birth and junior-section assignments to the named member organisation, and agree to them being stored by Monosphere Ltd (trading as Comnly) on that organisation's behalf for the sole purpose of administering the child's involvement in it. The child's date of birth is not displayed to club administrators and is used only to (a) confirm the entry is for a person under 18 at the time of addition and (b) identify when the record is due for automatic archiving at age 18. Archiving is processed by a scheduled service and removes the record from active junior features; it does not delete the stored record. 3. You understand that the child is not receiving a Comnly account. The child has no login, no access to the Comnly mobile or web apps, and no profile visible to other members. Notifications targeted at a junior section to which the child is assigned will be delivered to your account only. 4. You may remove the child's record at any time from your profile settings. Removal deletes the live junior record and its section assignments. A separate attestation audit record, including the child's name and identifier, may be retained where necessary to evidence the attestation. Copies in backups are subject to the applicable retention and deletion procedures. See the Privacy Policy for retention and your rights. 5. You will inform Comnly (via your member organisation's administrator) of any change in parental responsibility or guardianship that would affect this attestation.

Your Organisation is the controller of the child's membership data and is responsible for identifying and explaining its lawful basis. Monosphere stores and handles that data on its behalf. This attestation records your parental responsibility and permission to add the child; it does not create a child account or provide an online service directly to the child. You may withdraw your permission by removing the child's record and may contact your Organisation about any retained data.
