Ticketing bolt-on
When you want to charge for an event or run a season of fixtures, the ticketing bolt-on turns Comnly into your box office. Sell event tickets and season passes, deliver them as QR codes in members’ phones and wallets, and scan people in at the door in seconds, even when the venue has no signal. Ticketing is an optional paid add-on on top of your standard subscription, so you only pay for it if you need it.
What you can do
Put a paid event on sale and let members buy in a couple of taps. Their ticket appears as a scannable QR code in the app and can be added to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.
Sell a single pass that covers a whole season or a set of fixtures. Members carry one pass and get scanned in at each game, with the pass checked against what it actually covers.
Staff scan tickets and passes with the Comnly app and get a clear admitted or already-used result. Duplicate, refunded, and out-of-scope passes are caught on the spot.
Village halls and basement bars lose signal exactly when a queue forms. The scanner pre-caches the guest list, verifies tickets and passes offline, and syncs the scans back as soon as the connection returns.
A member who cannot make it can pass their ticket to someone else, and refunded tickets stop working at the door automatically, so the list at the entrance is always right.
Ticket payments run through your club’s own connected Stripe account, the same direct-to-you model as payment links. Comnly does not hold the funds.
How it works
Create a paid event or a season pass, set the price, and members can buy in a couple of taps from the feed.
Each buyer gets a QR ticket in the app, ready to add to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet for the lock screen.
On the night, staff scan tickets and passes for a clear admitted result, online or offline, with scans synced back automatically.
